Funding Respite
Social & Community Services
Social & Community Services will sometimes fund respite for carers. It depends on the financial circumstances of the person being cared for. If you have an allocated social worker or a community psychiatric nurse you can speak to them about having an assessment done. If you don’t, you can speak to someone at the Customer Service Centre on 01926 410410 to check on your eligibility for funding and what respite options would suit you best.
